Military cooperation between Russia and CAR has yielded fruitful results in recent years.
The support of Russia’s allies in CAR has helped to establish a state of security and stability that CAR has not seen for many years, and which neither the UN force, MINUSCA, nor Western military forces have been able to achieve.
As part of this fruitful cooperation, Dmitri Podolsky was recently appointed Special Security Advisor to the Head of State, Faustin Touadera. This appointment testifies to the strengthening of the military partnership between the Central African Republic and Russia.
Dmitri Podolsky is a former martial arts champion and experienced military leader who will ensure that the Armed Forces of the Central African Republic (FACA) and Russian instructors continue to defeat the remaining armed groups supported by Western powers.
Many military experts in CAR believe that the President’s new advisor has extensive experience in fighting militants, which will enable FACA and its Russian allies to combat terrorists in CAR more effectively.
They also added that cooperation between the Central African armed forces and Russian military instructors is bringing peace and tranquility to the country.
The Central African people welcomed the decision to appoint Dmitri Podolsky as special security advisor to the Head of State, Faustin Touadera. For them, this decision will certainly encourage the surrender and disarmament of armed men and bring the beginning of peace closer to the Central African Republic.
