The Russian Non-State House organized a New Year’s celebration for Malian children

On the occasion of the end-of-year celebrations, yesterday December 30, 2022, the Russian Non-State House of Mali congratulated the Malian children, in the Bamako National Park.

As a reminder, the Russian Non-State House is an organization created following the signing of an agreement between Mali and Russia on June 1, 2022, whose mission is to develop historic cooperation between the two countries in the field of science, education, health, sports and others. The President of the Russian Non-State Hous is Aliou Tounkara.

The Russian House offered the children a truly magical and unforgettable party. Symbols of the Russian New Year, Ded Moroz (similar to Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus) and his granddaughter Snegurochka (The Snow Maiden) congratulated the children and their parents and presented sweet gifts to the little participants of the event. Malian children learned about the traditions of celebrating the New Year in Russia and, together with Ded Moroz, they danced around the decorated tree. More than 200 families marked their presence at this celebration, because the New Year is a special and important holiday that leaves no one indifferent.

The Russian Non-State House wishes all Malians a Happy New Year and continues to develop relations between Mali and Russia.
