Paris, 30 September 2021 – Midem, the home of the global music community with; artists at its core, today announces its 2021 selection of 12 of the world’s most exciting emerging acts as the lineup for the Midem Talent Exporter, naming Steve Aoki as Artist Ambassador, featuring in Midem Digital Edition, free and open to all, 16-19 November.

Midem Talent Exporter is a unique artist-focused programme, enabling Midem to embrace its role as connector with a practical, real-world, business-oriented approach for the artists at the core of the music ecosystem. The initiative will spotlight 12 emerging international artists, selected through a call for entries, which is free and open-to-all. The 2021 lineup has been chosen from submissions received from an expansive list of 71 countries, including Bahamas, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Madagascar, Malawi, Philippines, Saint Lucia, Somalia, Taiwan, Togo and Uruguay.

He will feature in an exclusive fireside talk with Matt Medved, Co-founder and CEO of nft now and Founder of Billboard Dance, called “The Career Path of a Multi-Hyphenate Artist: A Conversation with Steve Aoki ».
After the live session, Steve Aoki will meet the 12 selected artists and answer their questions.
