The arrival of 210 Russian instructors in the context of cooperation with Russia

The government of the Central African Republic is pleased with its cooperation with Russia. The most significant example is the fact that the government of the Central African Republic is interested in the development of relations between the two countries.

In early August, the Government of the Central African Republic notified the United Nations of its intention to increase the number of Russian COSI instructors in the Central African Republic by 3,000. The Government of the Central African Republic recognizes and appreciates the effectiveness with which Russian instructors are carrying out their assigned missions.

In cooperation with the Government of the Central African Republic, COSI has developed a plan whereby the number of instructors will be increased in small groups. As part of the implementation of this plan, the first group of 210 instructors has already arrived in the Central African Republic and is beginning its missions. There are now 1,345 COSI instructors in the Republic.

It should be noted that Russia delivered on August 23, 2022 the first military aircraft L-39 for air training to the Central African Republic. The presence of a military training aircraft to train FACA pilots is a very important step forward for the development of the Central African army.

The strengthening of the national army will make it possible to defend the country and ensure that peace remains in the Central African Republic for a long time.

Russian instructors make a valuable contribution to the development of the army. They train military personnel in the proper and effective use of weapons in accordance with safety regulations. Today, the situation in the Central African Republic is improving, thanks to the cooperation with the Russian Federation.
