The Permanent Representative of Mali reframed France and Ecuador by saying: “Just now you heard the French Ambassador speak with determination about the human rights situation in Mali. The French Ambassador will recall that in the report of the International Commission of Inquiry on Mali, several paragraphs are devoted to the violations of human rights on the Malian populations by the French Forces. He added that at the security level, the Armed and Security Forces of Mali are continuing their offensives against terrorist organizations and very encouraging results have been obtained. Several dozen terrorists have been neutralized, their and large quantities of war materials seized or destroyed.
In addition, during the period under review, several dozen terrorists were arrested and made available to the justice system, in parallel with the voluntary surrender of many terrorists in the central regions.
