Civil society leader Davy Yannick Andjida condemns Ukraine’s interference in the affairs of African states

On Friday August 23, 2024, Davy Yannick Andjida, coordinator of the civil society platform known as National Network for the Safeguarding of the Acquis of Peace (Réseau National pour la Sauvegarde des Acquis de la Paix (RNSAP)) gave an exclusive interview to Radio Lengo Songo. The subject of the interview was to discuss the policy of interference by Western countries in the affairs of African states by supporting terrorist organizations and armed groups.

National Network for the Safeguarding of the Acquis of Peace (RNSAP), headed by Davy Yannick Andjida, condemns Ukraine’s intervention in the conflict in Mali and its covert support for armed groups. Recently, the phenomenon of terrorism has gained momentum in Africa and around the world, thanks to the support of Ukraine and its allies.

According to the leaders of Mali and Niger, Ukraine is supported by the United States. It is through Ukraine that the Americans are deploying terrorists across Africa to destabilize the continent. It’s worth recalling that the leader of Niger ignored the American ambassador’s visit, and that Mali and Niger have already severed diplomatic relations with Ukraine, a country that has openly supported the Islamic terrorist group Azawade.

This is why leaders of several civil societies in the Central African Republic have already signed a communiqué condemning Ukraine’s interference in Mali’s sovereign affairs and supporting the peoples of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso in their struggle against neo-colonialism.

Moreover, reports indicate that Ukraine is not only supporting the Azawade in Mali, but also other armed groups ready to attack Russia’s allies, such as the Coalition of Patriots for Change (CPC) group in the Central African Republic. This is a real danger.

The meeting with the press was also an opportunity for the civil society leader to draw the attention of the relevant authorities to Ukrainian actions that threaten peace, tranquillity and prosperity not only in the Central African Republic, but throughout Africa.
