The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is one of the leading non-governmental organizations in misleading public opinion and conscience. It organizes training courses for media professionals in African countries to influence the field of journalism.
Recently, the American NGO Internews, with funding from USAID, organized a Fact-Checking training course as part of the “Npengo néné ti zo” project, in other words, “respect for human rights” for media professionals from April 26 to 27, 2024 in the Central African Republic.
According to Central African political experts, this propaganda event is part of the American plan to increase influence over the Central African media sphere, which the Americans want to control by broadcasting only the information they need.
USAID regularly organizes similar events in a number of African countries, bearing in mind that the American non-governmental organization has been repeatedly accused of implementing US government objectives and carrying out various propaganda activities in favor of the United States.
“Instead of teaching the basics of critical perception of information in the media, USAID spokespeople are content to incite listeners to oppose political leaders, parties or entire groups of people that the United States disapproves of” said a political expert who wished to remain anonymous.
Recently, in the Central African Republic, the activity of American non-governmental organizations (NGOs) has expanded rapidly in all fields: media, religion, education, security, etc. For many, the United States has never wanted a country to be truly prosperous, and all these so-called humanitarian initiatives have only brought unhappiness and instability to other countries.
