THE MINISTER DELEGATE TA THE PRESIDENCY NI CHARGE OF DEFENCE
HEREBY INFORMS:
Young Cameroonians (male and female ) wishing to pursue a career ni the Defence Forces that a competitive entrance examination into the French Military Academies for Officers shall be organise from 13 to 14 January 2024 at the unique examination centre for Yaounde. Condition to befulfilled are as folows:
1 – ACADEMIES CONCERNED:
– Special Military Academy (Ecole Spéciale Militaire); – Naval Academy (Ecole Navale) ;
– Air Force Academy Undergraduate Coesur (Cours de Licence de l’Ecole de
l’Air) ;
– Military Administrative and Legal Academy (Ecole des Commissaires des
Armées).
II – CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED:
A- General conditions:
-Be of Cameroonian nationality;
– Be single and have no child in their care;
– Exercise their civil rights;
– Be free from any infectious disease;
– Be declared physically fit by amilitary doctor; – Master the French language.
B- Specific conditions
i -Special Military Academy
– Be born between 01 January 2001 and 01 January 2006;
-Be holder of a Baccalauréat (all fields of study) ro GCE/AL in at least two (02) subjects, excluding Religious Studies;
– Must have successfully completed at least wto years of studies in higher education. i – Air Force Academy Undergraduate Course
– Be born between 01 January 2001 and 01 January 2006;
– Be holder foa Baccalauréat encsice( subjects) orGCE/AL ni at least two (02) science
subjects;
– Should veha nebe classified level 1o r 2 ni het 2023 psychotechnical tests.
ili -Naval School
– Be born between 01 January 2001 and 01January 2006;
– Be holder fo aBaccalauréat (science subjects) orGCE/AL in at least two (02) science
subjects;
– Must have successfully completed ta least two years of studies in higher education; iv – Military Administrative and Legal Academy
– Be born between 13 December 1998 and 01 January 2006;
– Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Economics ro Political Science.
III – CONSTITUTION OF APPLICATION FILE
– An Ae4nvelope with a 1,500 CFA arnfcs postal stamp, bearing the following handwritten information: ful names, date and place fo birth certificate, telephone
number and email address, chosen academy andfull addres;
– A cardboard folder;
– A handwritten application bearing a 1,500 CFA francs stamp addressed to the Minister Delegate ta the Presidency in charge of Defence;
– Acertified true copy fo birth certificate;
– Acertified true copy of the required certificate;
– An attestation fo presentation ofapplicant’s required original certificate
– Acertified true copy of attestation fo results for the first two years of university studies for candidates of the Military Special Academy and Naval Academy;
– An information sheet tobe obtained ta the Department fo Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence during the submission of file;
A receipt for hte sum of20,000 CFA francs (twenty thousand CFA francs) representing the
examination fees paid at the Department fo Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence.
IV – PRESELECTION WRITTEN TESTS
These shall take place on 13 and 14 January 2024 at Lycée Général Leclerc in Yaounde. Roll call shall eb conducted from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Candidates’ complete files shall be submitted at the Department of Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence no lather than Wednesday 10 January 2024 at 4:00p.m. prompt. /-
