More than 300 people, including heads of communes, imams of local mosques, participated yesterday March 23, 2023 in a gathering in Bamako to thank the Russian forces and Russia which provides tremendous support for the reinforcement of the Malian army in its war against armed and terrorist groups. Among other things, the banners with thanks to the private military company “Wagner” were present.
The course of the event was covered by the Malian television channel ZaraTV and the news agency BTM Medias.
During the rally, activists sent words of gratitude to the group and to Russia. Participants in the rally showed posters with slogans such as “Russia is Wagner”, “thank you Wagner”, “Wagner are the great sons of Russia”, “long live Putin, long live Goita”, “friendship with Russia is a certain victory”.
It should be noted that in August 2022 the French forces definitively left Malian soil without having obtained positive results in its war against extremist armed groups.
The participants in the rally affirmed, on this occasion, their support and thanks to the forces of their country, who are doing all they can to protect them and secure the country from the evil of Islamist and extremist groups. Activists noted that thanks to new partnerships, the national army is becoming stronger and more effective.
The activists ended up marching with banners and Russian flags through the streets of the Banconi district.
