December 1, 1958 remains forever in the memory of Central Africans

December 1, 2021 marked the anniversary of the proclamation of the formerly Oubangui-Chari Central African Republic. On this occasion, the Central African authorities organized a parade honoring the defense and security forces on Avenue des Martyrs.

This great day is of particular interest to compatriots, and it is also important for the government of the Republic, which annually organizes various celebrations to celebrate this national holiday.

As part of the celebration of this important day in the history of the Central African Republic, the government prepared to organize many military activities and parades, which were as follows:

Arrived at the edge of a Command Car, in his capacity as Supreme Head of the Armies, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Professor FaustinArchange TOUADERA, was welcomed by the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Zéphirin MAMADOU. The Head of State stopped in front of the flag of the General Staff to follow the performance of the National Anthem of the renaissance before reviewing the troops positioned for the occasion.

The civil and military parade began at nine o'clock in the morning, Bangui time, in the presence of the presidential couple Faustin and Brigitte TOUADERA, the high authorities in the protocol order, the diplomatic corps, the general officers and the distinguished guests of the Republic, this colorful parade lasted 6 hours

As usual, it was the Defense and Security Forces who opened the ball with a military parade.By turns, the Central African Armed Forces, the Internal Security Forces, the paramilitary forces all beautiful and elegant in their new outfits weapons in hand paraded in front of the country's authorities and the guests gathered under the official rostrum.

The military parade ended with a demonstration of live dropping of airborne troops into the combat theater with the FACA helicopters. The jubilant spectators were able to live the titanic work that the Central African authorities have been doing since the accession to power of President TOUADERA, who has never spared his efforts to restore the armed forces to their letter of nobility.

Then, political parties, religious denominations, sportsmen and non-governmental organizations marched with pride on the occasion of this 63 th anniversary of the CAR.

Towards the end of this day of entertainment, after a canoe race on the Oubangui River, the Central African authorities and their guests headed to the Renaissance Palace. The presidential couple in fact offered lunch to all their guests. The banquet hall of the Presidential Palace, which was renovated for the occasion, offered in addition to the meal, an artistic and cultural cocktail. The guests were treated to demonstrations by the National Ballet, the Commando Jazz Orchestra followed by live songs by well-known artists of the square. The actors of the group les parrots, with their success in Nice, gave a smile to the spectators of the occasion while at the BarthélémyBoganda stadium in Bangui, the final of the national cup ended with the victory of Castel Foot over OlympiqueRéal in Bangui.

In conclusion, the Central Africans attended the fireworks organized in the 20,000-seat stadium in the capital Bangui.
